I was considering trying to find an 00+ Bonneville once the Intrigue has served her time, but it seems like they have a lot of problems that happen to almost every owner here and arent cheap to fix. I would be buying a used one and wouldnt have the warranty to cover all these common problems.

Ok, yes the Bonneville'* have some flaws, but for the most part it'* a very reliable car that everybody loves to drive. It can be a pain in the butt at times, but it'* nothing that is over-whelming and way to expensive in my opinion. Alot of cars these days have some sort of issue per say. Nothing is perfect, even from day 1.

I wouldn't buy one to be honest. Intermediate steering shaft issues, window regulators, a bunch of little stuff that shouldn't crop up in a car that price (nearly $20000 for an SSEi with decent kms up here), but that'* just IMO.

technically my car has both of those issues as well, but neither have been a problem so far. My windows dont go anywhere very fast, but they all still move. I do notice the steering shaft thing every once in a while, but im pretending I dont for the time being.

But I agree, a flagship car shouldnt have so many little issues.

Just seems to me you can get a whole lot more car for your money (again, at least in this area).

i own one and like the "Creature Features" over the 93....there are common problems like all vheicles it happens with every make and model

The issues that concern me are the flooding and mystery vibrations that seem to be hard to fix at times.

I for one have not had any problems with leaking. *Knocks on wood*, but I do have a vibration. It'* nothing that isn't tolerable. I can see your point. For what a Bonne costs, the problems shouldn't be so common, but you get problems with ANY car you buy. For example here, Chryslers/Dodge- Tranny issues, Ford- Let'* not even go there, I've owned a TON of fords and the only ford I will ever own is a T-bird without a 3.8L, I mean, all cars have issues. My Mom'* Firebird for example, the fuel regulator goes out every 2 years. It'* just something you deal with.

its not something you deal with if you buy a honda! (i wonder how many people will kill me for saying that...) but yeah, if i would have paid the new car price for this thing and had all this crap go wrong, id drive it through the showroom window at the dealer. used, whatcha gonna do? i fix the stuff that matters and half-*** the rest i guess. i replaced the wheel bearing, and put a screw in the track when the regulator went bad.

I won't kill you for saying it, because it'* an untrue statement....plain and simple.
