Default "Check Tire Pressure" and "DIC"

I seem to have a problem with my "DIC"... ...yeah, yeah I know an open door for any and all contributions!! The problem is that none of the buttons appear to be working and the Check Tire Pressure on the display won't reset. Does the DIC have a master reset somewhere? I have tried the Mode button and it does absolutely nothing. Any and all help would be appreciated!

I will let you know later tonight when I get home and try to clear the pressure issue. I hope this does the trick. Thanks!

No go...I held that button down for a full minute and nothing happened???? None of the buttons in that area work. The display itself works but I can't reset the tire pressure or look at any of the other mode info.

did you hit reset, and then select to cycle through to tire pressure again?

This is the first that I've heard of the problem in the SSEi. The GXP guys have had some problems with it. Here'* a thread on what they found.

Well thanks Archon...that link just made my stomach ache!! After further investigation nothing in that whole cluster works ie; E/M, Mode, Reset, Select...it is going to our mechanic tomorrow so hopefully they can find out the problem. Thanks!

Or...you may want to see what one costs from a junkyard.

With both the GXP'* that had this problem it turned out to be a mechanical issue with the button itself. Since this item popped up, I rarely use mine and it'* working OK. The firdt thing you should have the mechanic do Mac is check continuity betwenn the button contacts. Thats were the problem was fouind with them.
