Default Ok, Hi-Flo cat time

I just need to know what size to get and I want to make sure It won't mess up my emissions stuff and throw a check engine light or anything. I plan on buying the cat from Magnaflow and getting it welded on before the o2 sensor. Thanks for any advice in advance.

If you plan on getting a Magnaflow go to performancepeddler.com they have Magnaflow stuff at way cheap prices and free shipping. They give you a little place to enter in make/model/year and that should give you the correct part. If you decide to order from that site enter in the coupon/promtional code EBAYROCKS to get an extra little discount.

We got through some good info in this thread. There are some decent pics of Magnaflow sizing charts as well. Hope it helps.

I would reccomend getting a cat that from here http://hoganperformance.com/CC1.htm It'* very easy to bolt in your self and clamp it or have it welded. I put mine on myself and was very happay with it.

So what size cat would I need I don't know how wide the pipes are on both sides of my cat. Also my g/f'* dad (the exhaust guy) is begging to take my resonator off because he thinks that the magnaflow mufflers on my car wont let it get all raspy so I might just let him take if off and see how it sounds and if I don't like it he'll just put it on again.

Well, since you have the free labor, go ahead and remove the res and try it out.

As to the exhaust size, just crawl under there and take a measurement. It'* not that hard.

Exhaust should be 2.5" in/out of the cat. I use a 94006 cat with no issues besides the crappy welds the exhaust shop did.
