Default whats happenin

Spend most of my time over at ls1gto.com but i thought i would join over here and learn some stuff. Had my bonneville for about as long as the GTO. Got it for winter use as well as more space for cruising, etc.
My old man had it before me and kept it in good shape. 92k on her now.

For the up coming winter she needs tire, brake and shocks. Shock choices and info is what i'm really looking for to start. Look forward to alot of good info and conversation.

Gonna go hit up that "search" feature

howdy...welcome to the forums.Your year is very moddable and the lightest of the series II body styes, it does not take much cash to get into the 13s with it...without cam, IC or heads. Oh wait did you say this is your winter car...

For tires, dont mess around with all seasons, go a straight studless winter tire. It makes these cars act like they have 4 wheel drive.

struts are going to be a "decision" if you have the computer command ride (you probably do)

brakes...go ceramic up front with the nicest rotors they sell at NAPA, no warping so far. make sure you get the rears adjusted properly as they often are out of adjustment and the auto adjusters never work right.

You know, those 4th badges are PRETTY damn noticeable...i'm pretty sure he would have put that in his sig if he had a 40th...
