I can't decide on whether to get a pulley system or Harland Sharp Full Roller Rocker Arms. The power they will add will be around the same,(around 15-20 hp). If I get the pulley I'll need to get the pulley system $99, the puller $99, and an aeroforce scan gauge $239. Or the rockers: Drop 399 and not worry about KR. Not too sure which one, I'll ultimately end up getting both but its I'm only getting one at a time.
thanks in advance for any opinions

Honestly, I would say get the rockers. Then if you still want to get a pulley you have a very good mod already done that is very adequete when dropping pulley sizes.
Either one, you can't lose (as long as you don't go smaller than a 3.4 or 3.5 without rockers).

if your going to do this i have a Spare PCM for sale (shamless plug) so you dont have to send in yours for the reburn
Hold on guys...
Changing a pulley doesn't require a new pcm. Heck..all the mods I've done to date haven't seen dramatic differences from a new pcm... (cept now I can smoke the tires
) The butt dyno doesn't necessarily feel a difference from a pcm...the pcm makes all those mods work better.
Another alternative to renting and shipping a puller is hopping on your local GP/GM Truck forums. Many that have GTP'* and the SC kits for trucks have the pullers.

Absolutely get the pulley first. Not only will you get 30 HP but also 50 lb ft of torque (something the rockers won't really give you). To run a 3.4 you want a 180 T-stat, cooler plugs, and a better intake (prefer FWI) along with a 715 size belt. Once that is done, I would do a PCM then possibly rockers unless your thinking of doing a cam in the future (in which case I would skip the rockers and get the cam).
