Default LN3 - Overboring.

How much can an LN3 be overbored to safely? Has anyone done it? And what kinda power does it yield?

My understanding is .040" is maximum, but go less if you can, just enough to clean up the bore. It will add a few cubic inches, but be careful the replacement pistons have the same compression height and dish volume or you make actually lose compression ratio. L27 pistons will work in the LN3 and are a bit higher compression height. When fitted to my LN3,they had essentially zero deck clearance.

Thanks Hal.

Thats about what I thought. But I am actually wondering how much I can get out of this LN3. And I now realize, you might know something about that
