Personally, I've had pretty good success going more pulley with stock compression, but I've done alot of work to the flow of the top end to get there.

Alot depends on which generation of Series 1 you have. Can you put your year and trim level (SSEi) in your signature?

The Gen 2 (92/93) and Gen 3 (94/95) act quite differently to begin with. What are your goals? What have you done so far?

I was thinking along the lines of using a combination of cam, no pulley or less pulley and compression to get a 94/95 L67 to act more like turbo since I can chirp 245/45/17s with my LN3 powered reatta.

8.8:1 compression.

Sorry, 3rd attempt at 2nd post, this is my 3rd attempt at my third post. The site keeps asking for me to sign in when i click post.

I meant to say that I was thinking about an 8.8:1 compression setup vs an 8.5:1 compression setup.

Yeah I'm everywhere. I love the GN'* vs Viper GTS video.

I talk about 3800s to death.

Anything that will make more power without spinning the supercharger faster is a good thing. Higher compression and more timing will allow you to make more power without spinning the supercharger faster. I think that you will have to boost compression allot more for you to notice a difference though. People going from 8.5:1 to 9.5:1 are only noticing 5% more in power.

You can spin the supercharger MUCH faster without creating more heat.

I had a cooler running SC than a stock pulleyed M90 at WCBF '06 this year. In fact, I may have had the coolest running supercharger there, despite having the fastest spinner (screamer).
