Default Exhaust Question?

I was reading about the exhaust and decided to just put on an 80 series Flowmaster, but I put up a post on Craigslist.com for a Camaro / Firebird 80 series Flowmaster. Now I have a guy offering me his complete 20k mile factory cat back system. My question is does anyone know how a 97 Z28 exhaust will sound? I like how they sound on the V8, but I am not sure. Also will the tailpipes and tips match my SSEI? I can probabally get this system for $100 or less, but I dont know if its worth it compared with just buying the Flowmaster. Let me know what you think.

Why not? I thought there was some law passed early 90s or late 80s where exhuasts had to last x amount of years. So gm made the swich to stainless from them on?
