I know it'* a GP, but I'm posting here because it is a L67 issue.

I have been keeping an eye on this for a while now. There is a very slow leak somewhere around the supercharger, on top of the intake manifold. It is pooling up slowly in a small area near where the snout connects to the */C casing.

The fluid is brown, which leads me to believe that it is either motor oil or */C oil. However, I do not see how motor oil can leak there. My valve cover gaskets were replaced about 15K miles ago, and I do not see any signs of leaking from them.

I'm stumped on this one. I'm going to take this in to my dad'* shop, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has seen this issue before.

You able to get a little on your fingertip to tell if is slick like oil or not??

Could be a leak around the */C gasket itself

A zoomed out pic might help... so we can see more of what is around it.

I suspect it'* wicking out along the LIM bolt right there from the head. Motor oil.

I didn't know motor oil can make its way up that far. I notice that one bolt is oily looking. That'* very strange.

Ever had a LIM off? There'* almost always oil in those holes. How'* your PCV?

Never had it off. Never checked the PCV either.

The motor has 107K, so I guess this stuff is inevitable.

Idea:

Change the PCV valve. It could be making it worse if it doesn't vent crankcase pressure effectively.

Remove that bolt, and clean up the area very well. Clean the bolt even better. Apply some RTV gasket-grade (black or red) to the threads of the bolt and put it back in.

I'll look in to that. I'll definitly have my dad help me with that.
