Default Proper introduction

Well finally I'll get around to a proper introduction of myself. I'm 31 years old and have grown up around cars and farm machinery all my life , so mechanical knowledge is just second nature for me. My dad was an auto mechanic by trade , so I got started with my training pretty young. At about 14 or so , my dad and I started to do some buying of wrecked cars to fix them up and resell them. That was back when the used car market was really strong. Well we did this , in addition to dads regular job and me still in school , it was a busy life. The second year we had so many people asking for cars that we fixed and sold 13. After I graduated from high school I started to work full time at the same garage my dad did , and learned a lot through training and experience. I became an ASE certified technician 2 years later. I stayed there for 10 years , and when I got an offer to start work as a dissassembly and reassembly technician at a large new body shop that was very close to my home , I accepted. Since then I have moved up to assistant manager of the facility , and enjoy the challeges that each new day presents. The one thing that my dad didn't teach me much about is custom or performance upgrades. He was always one to keep his cars stock. I have just recently become more interested in modifications and performance tips and techniques. I continue to enjoy all the information on BC. Oh , by the way I have owned a 1989 LE Bonneville ,(cancer forced retirement at 160k) 1995 SE Bonneville (sold at 120k for a family van) and now I have reentered the bonneville world with my 2002 SLE!!!! So I'm a BIG Bonneville fan!!! Oh , also I have had Excellent reliability with the Bonnevilles I've owned.......Hardly and of the 'typical' problems . But I'm meticulous on maintanance. So there you have it! Another Bonneville LOVER!!!!!!
