Default What bulbs?

I want to replace the highs and lows in my car. I have been looking at
http://autolumination.com/headlights.htm and they have a bunch of bulbs that should be better than stock and aren't expensive. From those, what would you reccomend? I have only driven with stock bulbs, so anything should be an improvement. I may go two different types of bulbs for highs and lows to see which ones I like best.

Also, a buddy of mine will give me a pair of Silverstar low beams he installed for a week for 20 bucks. Would those be better than the ones on that page?

Use the SilverStars. I've used them for almost 4 years in the 93, and a year in the 95 now. I love them, and have had no problems.

Thanks. I will go with SS lows, and maybe greenish highs to match my car (I never use high beams anyways).

Is it legal to use a color other than amber for turn signals? I have clear corners and I think if they lit up red or green it would look good, I'm not sure of the legality. I would use the same color for the interior turn signal bulb (next to the high beam. 3157 I believe.)

Anywhere in the US its illegal for corner[turn] lamps to be any other color besides amber/clear. Now its a matter of opinion if you want to do another color[red, blue, green, brown...etc] but its your butt. Worse thing around here is a RR ticket[repair and report]. I havent been pulled over and mine are more red than most police lightbars.

Any forward facing red light is VERY illegal around here, except if you're an ambulance, fire truck, or cop. But, I have seen ricers with green and blue turn signals...

It'* probably all a matter of what the cops around you think is illegal.

Sylvania has silverstar turn signals. Those things are a very crisp clean amber. I like em. When your lights are aoff they are blue. Looks good. Try em out man.
