Well here is an update.

Called CAA and they will reimburse me for my tow bill. Ends up it WAS the fuel pump. So after the mandatory hour of troubleshooting, the R&R on the fuel pump ( requires dropping the tank) and changing the fuel filter, along with the price of parts and the towing charge since I have to get a credit for CAA, oh and can't forget the 15% tax that is added, the grand total was

923$

But I was on my way back on the road just after lunch. I still just want to go back home, but I have work to do.

this brings back bad memories :(

At least you had company to wait with you, I was by myself, hehe. I have to say that with all the driving I do, this is the first time the car has left me on the side of the road. Any other issues I have had with the car were not serious and was able to get fixed when I had the time.

Another one of those GM engineered failures, fuel pump to go out around 200,000kms , lol.

SSE1990, as all the thanks is being given out, there were a few of us that went to your site first (including me. ) I thank you for having us that ended up there, and the info and help I got to as to why this forum was down. I had the index here bookmarked and didnt see the MN Cub post till you guys pointed it out.
