Default Headlight bucket and lense seperation???

Ok i've asked a few of you how to do this and i have had no luck... i tried the heat gun thing, and noting happend. yes the clips were off beford i tried. so i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of baking the head light in the oven to get them apart??? if not i'm gonna dig around on crownvic.net cuz thats where i was told the story is....

well for takeing aprt my Tails i put them in a over at 200 degrees F for 20mins and they came right apart, it soften up the glue/tair type stuff and they come apart vary easy

Yeah I've heard the story. The way I did mine was apparently the much more difficult way. I took off the clips and inserted a flat screwdriver and made a small gap. Then I used a razor knife to cut the elephant snot that holds them together.
After some persuasion they will come apart.

Good luck it just takes some patience.
