nah im not looking for help but having floor mats never been cleaned for almost 7 years, just vaccumed yearly, ive decided to wash them
so first i went in the tub, soaked and rinsed them to get all the good sand and dirt off, then i decided to throw in the washer with some soapy stuff. seemed pretty nice and clean just needed to dry, so after that i threw in the dryer.... sad thing is when i took it out the dryer was all dirty with what looks like mud all over and it looked like i dropped the mat in some mud
..... i couldnt understand how the heck that could happen anyone have any clue? theyre fine now cleaned them another way..

I do the pressure washer with Simple Green, or Westley'* White Wall Bleach. If they're REALLY dirty I'll use a scrub brush on them. Makes them look brand new every time, even with how muddy the ones in the Jeep tend to get.
BTW way, I have rubber mats in both my cars, I don't know if you're talking about carpetted mats........
