Well, its been a long haul with these puppies. First chrome wheels with no caps, then mistakenly painted white :? , then repainted silverflake



Which is cool I guess, but never complimented the look that I wanted.

This winter since the car sat, I managed to score some 01 SSEi caps. And today, one week before the car is put back on the road full time....I got down to work.

Then put em back on the car, and took some additional shots. Sadly there was some schmutz on my lens and the pics are not as good as can be. Once its back full time, it'll be cleaned, waxed etc.

Anyhow, here is the final product. Finally I'm satisfied.

I actually think those are SLE center caps though. I could be wrong but that'* what'* on my car...

Your car kooks sharper everytime I see it Jim, nice job and so mad jealous of your weather. Go figure you are so north of me yet I still have snow in ground and below freezin temps each nite

In 2001 they changed the design, GM never discrimated between SSEi rims and SLE rims, its the same 17" 6 prong swoops.

But anyhow, I think they came out okay.

What kind of paint did you use? Or did you just remove the color from the cap?

Why did you ruin those nice center caps by painting over Pontiac and the arrow head :?:

Because they arent being used on a Pontiac?
