Default New Rims for the 'Streak and...

I don't like em. They don't have enough color....they even look silver from a distance in the sun. Also the steering wheel vibrates above 70 mph now. :(

What did you change from?? I dont think they look bad at all. Were you hoping for more gold color? I wouldnt be disappointed in them, I think they look sweet! The green and gold combo is irrestible!!

The gold rims on the 96-99 are a lot lighter then the 92-95 version. Seth and I compared side by side (94 SSEi and 98 SLE)...huge colour difference.

If it counts for anything JDB, I like em.

Old ones were delamed and he got a good deal on these, AFAIK.

I think they look good, although it makes the badging look a little off. Maybe lose the badging and the contrast wouldn't be so dramatic?

That'* right...the old ones are turning black in places. I didn't know these were the lighter style when i bought them on ebay.

good idea for vibration concerns.

I am going to agree with you JDB.....I like the darker gold better.
but you got a sweet deal on the new rims.
so how about some 18'* in the future.

There wouldn't be a way to lighten up the badges using some sort of paints, could there?

or at least without alot of effort perhaps
