Default Fogs

Looking for some brighter fog lights. Are Angel'* the way to go?

Is it possible to NOT hook up the LED rings around them? I'm not really into that, just want some brighter lights.

Perhaps there are better options. Lay 'em on me!

I'd like to use my factory wiring if possible.

Thanks.

Don't waste money on Angel Eyes if you're not going to use the rings. Cyberwhite (Pilot) Navigators direct the light better, and can be run with 55W bulbs out of the box or upgraded to 100 watt. (I run 55w in the 95, and 100w in the 93).

If you are looking for briighter w/o rings I'd say the cyberwhite navigators. No rings and nice and bright.

Do the Pilot'* have a somewhat blue tint to them? I had some Blazertech 2600'* on my '96 Cutlass that I loved. Talk about bright.

The glass does tend to have the blue tint...the light does not though.

Crappy picture of stock Cyberwhites. Note the blue tint to the glass

The only ones I've found lately, tho, have a blue seconday bulb at the bottom of the housing.

I would rather have yours. (w/o bulb) they can be found online.

I have the ones with the blue bulb. Can't say I'm happy about it. It looks neat when it works..but they coat the bulbs and it flakes off.

I actually went with a totally different, and cheaper, brand this last time. They are called ProBurner"*. Plain white glass, standard bulb. $19.95 a pair at WallyWorld

Now, if I could keep rocks from hitting them.... :?

That'* the problem with them being sporty at the outside and low to the ground...right where the tires in front of you kick stuff.
