Default polishing the M90 (4 - 640x480 pics)

at first i was just going to swap the fuel rails with the nicer one off a 01 SSEi... then when i had the fuel rail off, i figured my as well use the newer injectors also... then when i had it off... im like... hmm.. that supercharger looks terrible... this is after a couple hours (including demantling and installation) and a couple wire wheels and lots of dremel bits... i think it looks amazing... almost like i painted it with chrome paint

Watch out!!!! First you start off small, then "well, I can do this piece to", then comes "since I am in there", and eventually your '95 SSEi is in your garage in pieces down to the frame, people drinking all my beer and taking sledge hammers to cars and ..... um, I mean your '01.

get everything you need first:
dremel and drills with appropriate wire wheels and bits
standard socket set
one of these fuel line removers http://weisstool.com/store/products/KD-3321.jpg
a good underhood light... you are gonna wanna see what you are doing...

start by removing the obvious... anything that is in the way of it coming out, BCA, BCS, vacuum hoses, etc... use the fuel line disconnect tool to get the fuel lines off

there are 4 bolts that hold the fuel rail on... 10mm

once everything it out of the way, clean the areas around the injectors as good as you can.. .you do not want sand and junk falling in the cylinder when you pull out the injectors...

pull it off, you notice all the junk that might have fallen in the cylinder...

to blow all that stuff out, connect your fuel rail WITH INJECTORS back up, so you can crank the motor over and have it not start or leak fuel... crank it over for a couple seconds and that should do the trick...

clean away, make sure you plug the injector holes with a towl or something, i had metal dust EVERYWHERE

coat the injectors with a SMALL ammount of grease so they go in easily.. reinstall, everything, in reverse....
