so for every dorm student out there, what do yall do when not at class and not drinking beer????? i have never lived alone before so this will be a whole new ball park for me. i know it will be diff. but what did you all think/do when you first got the the dorm for the first time.

my first/only semester, my parents paid for fuel, and I had an 88 full size blazer, so i spent a lot of time at the sand dunes .....ended up blowing up my rear end though.

AAAAHHHHHH dorm life, the stories I could tell. Hope you get a good roomie for one. I guess my one huge tip for meeting people is to make sure you get yourself a nice doorstop and when you aren't doing anything that you need your privacy for, or concentration open your door and people will say hi, stop by and you'll meet a bunch of people that way.

lol that sounds like fun. im agrevated cause of the cost. i was at a reginal campus then transfer to main campus. tusc county campus was like 2200 a semes. then transfering to the main campus its 4000 for anything over 12 hrs, 2000 for dorm, 100 for parking pass, and i have to buy some stupid food card for another 1200 bucks then books on top of it all. dammmmm i went from a 2600$ total to like 7500$ wtf

Oh yeah, if you are looking for cash benefits, dorms are not the way to go. The meal passes are nice if you have a good cafeteria. It'* kinda nice to not have to worry about buying food, you've always got some.
