Default I guess blowing engines is the thing to do now

I don't exactly know what happend, but....

My car started making one hell of a noise the other day after sitting for about a week. It was screeching at idle, I was late for work, opened the hood and thought the bearings were going out in the a/c compressor (thirty second troubleshooting for ya). I drove it to work, but it didn't squeal past idle. Got to work, and I thought I smelled something burning, opened the hood, opened the oil cap, and nothing but smoke came out :( .

Oh well, I guess 303,000 was all this motor had in it. The car is officially retired until the L67 swap happens, hopefully before Thanksgiving it will be back on the road. When the motor comes out, I will find out what exactly happened.

A little blow by is normal. The pcv takes care of it when the cap is on. At 303 you need to give the car a hug and thank it for so many miles.

No, it comes out like a chimney, and from the valve covers.
