i was wondering if the comp cam 918 springs are to much??? a freind of mine has them and i can get a realy nice deal on them.

and from what i have read you can use LS6 spring for the L67 correct???

What are the # on those springs and what application are they for.
LS6 springs will work but you need a LS6 or comp cams retainer. The stock retainers are not large enough. And stay away from comp keepers till they straighten out their angle issue.

i would be using them in my gtp after i replace the rockers to 1.9s

I know I've read somewhere that on the series 2, if you go past 105# springs, you need a single rollermaster timing chain. Otherwise the stock chain will chew up the stock damper in no time. But besides that 130# springs are way overkill for 1.9'*. Your friend wouldn't happen to have his stock springs would he? Those would work good.

well he prob does, that would be what he is using in his car now. but myself i dont like the idea of used spring with um 70 - 80 thou on them.

Be careful with that much spring pressure. If the installed height is 1.7" instead of 1.8" as the spring was designed for, you will have a lot more spring pressure; at least at the installed height; probably around 135-142 lbs. I would suggest, for safety reasons, to stay between 95-110 lbs.
