Paypal security notice BS or not?
I recently received the following email:
Note the spelling of "choise" When I hover over the link provided, it begins http://... rather than https://... Even if I type in www.paypal.com in my address bar, it automatically directs me to a secure page. I'm wondering if the email is BS in an attempt to have me divulge my username and password. I haven't clicked on anything and don't plan on it. Just wanted to know if anyone else has seen something similar.

We recently noticed one or more attempts to log in to your PayPal account from a foreign IP address and we have reasons to belive that your account was hijacked by a third party without your authorization. If you recently accessed your account while traveling, the unusual log in attempts may have been initiated by you.

yes i have sir!!! twice those bastards tryed getting me!!!! dont do it! if you notice, it most likey is one big picture.........try highligthing one word/sentence.....I did this.. and both times it was one big picture........ it'* stupid......be safe everyone!!!!!!!!

I foolishly got taken like that almost 2 tears ago.
The email looked legit and I had just started my PayPal account so,I did what the link said. Two days later I checked my bank balance before I went to work and had almost 200.00 in charges to **** pay-sites. I had to call my bank and get a new card and several different places I had written checks and ask them to hold them for a few days until I could get this straightened out.
Now,everything I get from PayPal or Ebay get forwarded to their spoof department for verification!!!
