Well, I guess it'* about time I introduced myself. I've been a member since the beginning of August but haven't gotten around to this part until now. I'm a 23-year-old female, business owner, NY Yankee fan(former NYer), amateur landscape designer/gardener, and I love Rock Star:INXS. I bought my 2000 Bonneville SSEi back in April when it had only about 18K miles on it. $14,800 OTD. As far as I know it'* all stock and still has the original tires, which BTW make the traction control come in handy during our Florida rainy season. But I'm thrilled to own it - it'* my first car and I was car shopping for about two months because I'm so picky
I didn't start out looking for a Bonneville, I actually wanted a Grand Prix... but now that I have it, I absolutely love it! It had better last a long time because I think it'* spoiled me too much - it'll be hard to find something else that would even come close to all the luxury and performance for such a low price
I have had some problems with water leaking, but I fixed the trunk leak and the other leaks were only during extremely heavy downpours. I don't know much about engines so I'll probably end up taking it to the mechanic for most things, but I did change the supercharger oil myself
I might be interested in some mods sometime in the future... You can check out my website for more pics of my car-http://www.geocities.com/e_serrell/homepage.html Anyway, this forum is great - I've found a lot of helpful info on here. Thanks everybody

Welcome... on that need for a mechanic.. since the base is increasing maybe another local member can help out.
And if you changed your own supercharger oil, you aren't afraid of working on the car.
