Why is it that 9 out of 10 Canadians hate Bush? But he won re-election here?

I'm one of those 9. Perhaps some of it is strained (to say the least) Canada-US relations since he came into power. The Liberal party over here and your Conservatives don't go to well together...

The media hates Bush, hence the slanted polls. Americans don't as a rule. 13% of Americans do, the wacko, extremist left of the country. That will never change. The last few election cycles have been conservative and will continue in the future that way.

Which doesn't bode too well for Canadians if the Liberal party remains in power.

I will not, NOT be voting Conservative anytime soon. The party leader (Steven Harper) scares me. That, and I don't agree with what they stand for. Too far to the right.

Agreed....... the Liberals have been in power for a while..... better the devil you know then the devil you don't I always say.
Anyways.... I'm watching this thread closely... I don't want to turn it into a big political debate.... on either side of the border.
