well i kno this obvisouly isnt about bonnevilles but its along the lines of pontiacs...on the 1999 grand am gt or all grand ams for that matter, can the car come factory with the hood scoops or is that all aftermarket...

just wondering cause im looking at a grand am gt for my girlfriend and the person says its got the hood scoops, and i just wanna see if that will raise the retail value of the car or not...thanks in advance

they do make a GT 'Ram Air' version that has the hood scoops, it has the Ram Air badges on the front fender, they also have a SC/T version that has the hood scoops too....I believe that they started the hood scoops around 01 or so

definately 01, i think its VERY pssible in 00

may be, but i remember i think it was in 2000 or 2001, a car&driver issue, it was probably a special model but from what i remember, it had the ram air scoop, body kit, probably 17 or 18 wheels, and writed in big :

i don think their supercharged and the hood isnt funchinal. my wife and i have been looking at them to replace our saturn.
