HID bulb upgrade anyone?

HID bulb upgrade anyone?

My 2005 GXP has DRLs Are these the low beams or high beams? Does this mean I cant install a HID kit. has anyone done this with a car the has DRLs?

you whould have to buy the HID 9006 Kit for your Low beams, and they would work. Fuddyduddy had a Set on is 93 SSEi and Smellbird has a set on his 98 SLE. Your DRL'* are the High Beam bulb

I think the Kit Fuddy had was made by Catz Eyes

You should disable the DRL'* before you put the HID in. Also keep in mind retorfit kits are not street legal in the US.

Wait.. why do I have to dissable the DRLs if they are high beam onlys?

??? the DRL are the high beam.....the kit will be for the lows, you will have to reaim the headlights after

Well i know earlier models were low beam such as Smellbirds.

Do low beams stay on, with highs in the 00+? That'* nice to have so you're now power cycling them when you flash other motorists (or don't flash).
