Default Headlight Bulbs

Hi, I have a 1997 SSEi and I wish to upgrade the headlights. I tried SilverStars but was disappointed. The low beams were a blue light and not very bright and the high beams were more of an incadesent color and the light appeared to be a ball of light in front of the car versus straight beams shining down the road. I have been looking at PIAA bulbs. Anyone have suggestions?

The best experiences here are with Silver Stars. I prefer Silver Star lows and Cool Blue Highs. An unstoppable combination, especially if you upgrade your fogs too.

$40 a set of course people are gonna like them.

A cheaper bulb alternative that has same or higher output, are Silvania Xtravisions. They aren't as blue either. If you drive in snow you'll appreciate the lower glare.

Aiming your lights is what you should do before anything. Grab a torx wrench, and get infront of your garage door, or a straight road.

also.. is your reflective surface on your headlights scuffed or peeling or peeled? If those reflective coating is not up to par or perfect.. expect to have light lose.. also the glass piece in the front.. if it'* scuffed up good from road debris or what not.. it will also distort your light pattern scattering it the wrong way

Are there any decent white/blue headlights that don't cost $30-40 a pop?
