Neighbor had a burn pile going. Embers jumped about 30' and set another neighbor'* wood pile and fence on fire. Nobody even noticed because of the smoke from the burn pile.

Put it out for him with his hose. Took half a stinking hour. My eyes are burning.

We all gotta look out for each other.

Sounds like the guy had too much on the pile. We burn here, and are very careful to watch our downwind and keep a hose handy.
