Default I want a new alternator (Kennginn?)

But my local Napa doesn't get ACDelco parts so they can't warranty my rebuilt unit I got in Champaign a few years ago. I can get one from O'Reilly, but I don't think it has a lifetime waranty, however quite a bit cheaper. Can I get my money back from my local Napa (kicking myself for not asking while I was there). Can a Napa that has one ship it to me?

After talking to Ken and working with a manager he hooked me up with, I'm getting a Napa Raylock (or something like that) 140 amp replacement from the store in Peoria. Sound good? Any bad experiences with them?

Never heard of them, but a 140 wouldn't have to work as hard. Sounds good. Warranty?

Hmm, I didn't ask. But if my lifetime warranty goes away, I'm getting some money back before I leave.

I'd say if there'* no warranty, look at something else. One year warranties don't cut it with our alts. Go minimum two, prefer lifetime.

Ok, I got my new alternator. There are three plain bare posts in a row on the back that mine doesn't have. What do I do with those?
