Didn't have an 18mm socket in my possesion to do my Gatorback last week, so it was time to buy some tools for that project right? Trying to replace my cheap tools one by one...

Loved the laser sockets the first time i saw them, and decided that'* what i wanted. One would be like $4 each, the Metric set with 18mm was $25, and what i bought is normally $50. However i got it for less then $40, over 4x the sockets, a craftsman socket wrench, two screwdrivers. Heck it'* got a spark plug socket, and some wrenches.

If you're not running a great set of sockets, I'd highly recommend it. It'* $10 off for a lil bit, and i got 10% off during a sale last week.

Craftsman = the best. I don't buy the laser sockets, just because I don't need them. I have perfect vision, so I can read. But I have yet to have a craftsman tool fail, and even if one did, they would replace it hassle free. Which is awesome, because I am poor, and breaking something is common for me, so this saves me money.

Its not because people cant see them, just easier identification from a distance. I have better then perfect vision (20/15) and still think these are a good idea.

I have 20/20 left and 20/15 right, I don't need them. Yes they've already come i handy. Nice in low light situations too!

One thing i learned last week is craftsman torque wrenches don't carry the lifetime warrany!

Really? Thats wierd. I thought ALL their tools carried it....

The thing that would be handy (I don't have them..but they would be REALLY nice) is not having to find out the size on the bottom of the socket.

I hate spinning the socket in the palm of my hand, in an already awkward position under the car, just to see the small lettering/numbering.

The click type and the digital torque wrenches don't have the lifetime warranty because of "more complex parts" than normal hand tools. Power tools don't have it either. I used to sell tools at Sears.

I though about them, but show me one thats been around the eng block a few times and show me it'* still readable.

I bust them all the time. I bought one set, two or three years ago, Never had to buy another. I'm on my third rachet, They're just not built to be used with cheater bars.
