Im seriously thinking about buying me a Fiero sometime soon because they look pretty nice and seem sorta fast. I noticed that a lot of people do major engine swaps on these cars and was wondering why this car would be chosen for such things. What is involved in swapping with these cars? Im not thinking about swapping because I dont know much about cars but if its somewhat easy and I could have somebody do it for me then that would be pretty cool.
Its a light"ish" 2 seater car that'* fun to drive. When you drop in a 3800 on a midengine car...mmmmmm, glorious excitement begins!

I cant remember what it was about the back part of the frame, something about it actually being from a front wheel drive chassis. I should know this, I have a friend that has dropped all sorts of engines in these: 3.8 from a Buick Skylark, Series 1 L67, L36, 3.6(?) from my 85 Cutty, a 3 Chevy 305, and a old V8 from a Corvette. He likes his GM engines
I thought it would be neat to drop an l67 into one, but you lose a lot of creature comforts that I like :(
On a side note THIS is a light car with a helluva engine: http://v8914.com/
