Default Mutt

Well, it'* not Car of the Month material yet but mayby the comeback kid instead. I still can't find a rear bumper cover in good shape so I grabbed the one off of the parts car this morning.

It finally is off of ramps and jack stands for the first time in months. I transplanted the power steering line from the parts car and everything seems like it will work just fine. The interior only has the drivers seat and the shifter installed because I still need to fix the ari mix door motor which should be next week. I need to get it on the road to assess any other mechanical problems.

I have a guy that wants to trade a paint job for the '90 but don't want to get it painted until it'* mechanically 100%. He'* in a bit of a rush cause he wants the car for his daughter. This is the same guy that is reconditioning the wheels. I should get the test one back today or tomorrow and will have before and after pics.

Are you still looking for the SSE/SSEi bumper, or are you going to stick with that one? And just swap the chrome for the black trim?

It is just not installed. Similar to the SC cover.

If there is one thing I've learned from this forum, it'* get it to where it is supposed to be and then mod it from there. First up is ported and ceramic coated exhaust manifolds (from the parts car of course) and an intake. I love having the extra parts... it can be driven while mods are in progress.

Thanks for the compliment, Dame.

Definately still looking for SSE/i bumper. This is just temporary. I want to do a late night run tonight and didn't want to attract too much attention from law inforcement without a bumper.

Thats kinda cool actually, maybe get the side moulding in black also, and create a two-tone effect on it.

Looks pretty good with that bumper on. How much did you get it for?

I paid $375 for the whole parts car. I've harvested many parts already but have yet to pull hubs, calipers, and some engine stuff. I've also sold many of the parts I wasn't going to use.

By the time I'm done with it, it will have to be drug on it'* belly onto the flatbed to take to the crusher.
