Default New GPS Toy

Got a new toy for the laptop. Its a Delorme GPS receiver with map software. It is pretty cool. Still exploring all the options it has but definately worth the money (110$) at Staples. Even tells me where Wendy'* is at on the map of a city or town

That'* pretty sweet... does it do McDonalds too?

I heard that MS Streets & Trips 2005 comes with a USB GPS for your laptop included in the box for like $140 too. (don't quote me on that price)

I had that too, Twister. It works great but chewes up batteries pretty quick in the receiver. I considered buying the hardwire cable but ended up selling it before I did. I still use the software as a standalone program as opposed to Mapquest though.

Some Mcdonalds. I really havent played with it too much yet.

The receiver is actually powered by the USB, so no worry about batter drain, just on the laptop itself which allready has a crappy battery.
