SECURITY light stay on/ need ground S277 location

Anything labled "*" is a splice, not a ground. Here'* the text version of the location of S277 (using 1990 manual)

Splice S277: Composite Harness, Behind LH Side Of Instrument panel

Basically, it'* in the harness behind the cluster.

I would not suspect a splice or a ground first. Isn't the security light supposed to blink when the motor is not running and one of the doors are open? It might just be a hood, door or trunk switch.
