Yours doesn't sound like that? Mine sounds similar from inside. Not sure what it sounds like outside. But, yeah, mine'* a little tamer than that. (Probably the understatement of the day)

Maybe its just my headphones or I haven't driven my car in too long but it sounds a *tad* louder than I remember mine...or any other bonneville for that matter. Granted the only time I've ever heard mine fly by me was about 1.5yrs ago when I let my wife drive it. haha. She had fun with it so I let her use the nitrous once. She was freaking out which was freaking me out...never again haha.

I've heard mine recently, WCBF, everyone drove mine, and I've got good vid of it now.

The intake has more to do with the sound than the pulley, but the two in combination are the magic formula.

I have a sneaking suspicion you'll have that 2.2 on very soon.......

Ya, I can attest to our SSEi'* sounding like that Cobra'* whine.......and even the sound of the screeching tires through all those bridges at WCBF04.

Bill took the lead, so in succession whenever we left a pit stop it was WHIIIIINE---Screeeeech x 4 echoing though the covered wooden bridges.

That Cobra did sound impressive. My car couldn't do that from the speeds it was going....seemed like about a 45 mph roll.
