Low A/C flow.......................?

Went by the A/C service guy today............. he checks the air comming from the dash........... 58 degrees..........plenty cool enough.......but.............. even on the highest setting it doesn't seem to blow too hard and takes a while to cool the car. Granted it was 103 degrees today after work. The A/C guy tells me I have a clogged condenser under the dash/in the firewall. How do I clean this thing? How do I get to it? and has anyone else been thru this? Will cleaning it help or is it just a '92 climate control deal that plauges the older Bvilles? Thanx for the feedback, Brian

So I do the "thing" today after work in 100+ degrees. It wasn't all that cruddy either, but after removing the rather dry stuff with a medium stiff brush and then vacuuming it out I then used some electrical contact cleaner to spray the evap down the tiny 2x3 inch hole left by removing the fan resistor assembly and voula,..... nice clean shiney aluminum. i spray some soapy water solution on after just to cut the residue from the contact cleaner,....... God know what that stuff is anyway? just to be on the safe side. After all that............ It works great. Thanks again for you help Gents. Catcha' Later, Chillin' in So. Oregon, Brian
Did mine recently too. I spent about 4 hours just cleaning the evaporator, there was a tough mat of fibers and crap on most of the surface. It'* hard to get to the very edges of the evap. I did what I could with a small brass wire brush and various cleaning agents. I also flooded the carpet because I went wild with the hose. A small mirror and flashlight is handy to see some parts of the evap.
But I have much more air flow than I ever did before.
