I believe that'* a Torx T-50. (Yes, an Allen key of the right size will fit, too.) I think the MotorMite "HELP!" line has that specific socket available separately.

Hmm... I'm positive it'* a allen head. I've used it many times in my garage, but I can't recall the size. It'* not metric either. I'm thinking it was 7/16". Does anyone know for sure??

It'* allen, and larger than 3/8, but not by much. Either 7/16" or 1/2".
