Default I just gave my Bonneville away!!!

I did!!!

One of my best friends just blew the engine in the Saturn he was diriving. The saturn was a car that belonged to his roomate. Unfortunetly he was 45 minutes away from the cities (and everything else) when the engine blew. So what did I do? I drove up there (leaving a kickin' happy hour) and picked him and his 5 year old son up. I let him drive home (I did leave happy hour and all and his son was in the car). When we got to my house I gave him the key to the Bonne. I toild him that he has a small son who needs o ride in the back and he needs a ride to get places. That'* why I am giving him my SSEi to drive for as long as he needs and I will drive my $350 beaterFord truck.

Would any of you do this for your freinds????

I would definitely do it and have done it many times. My wife gets angry at me for being so helpful like that, but I'd want someone to do it for me!

I've let people use my cars cuz they know I keep a backup vehicle. It'* only turned out bad one time. They didn't take care of the vehicle, had trash and cigarette ashes flicked on the floorboards. YUCK!! Needless to say they won't ever get one of my rides again.

For a friend, probably not.... family yes.
I would do everything else to help my friend, but I wouldn't load him/her one of my Bonnies for a day or more.... they might not want to give it back
