They don't work right... I have to press my pedal down two inches or so to get any brakes, and then when I do, they aren't very much. My front brakes get very hot very quick, even with grandma driving. There'* no leaks, I just put a new master cylinder on a month or so ago, and Dad says there is no air in the lines. He also says the since I can't pull the drums off easily they are adjusted right. My pads aren't glazed. So... What'* wrong?

Get this, I just unplugged the vacuum to the booster, the brakes feel right, they're just way too hard, tyhey even start kicking in as soon as I hit the pedal, I just have to hit them pretty hard.

When is the last time you checked the rear brake cylinders for any signs of leaks?

Meaning you actually took the drums of a checked the adjustment and the cylinders? If you're sure of that then there are a couple of other things to check;

1) Did bench bleed the master cylinder before instalation?

2) Have removed, cleaned and lubed the front caliper slides with high temperature grease?

I had the drums off, it'* all dry.

By bench bleed do you mean bleed it with the little hoses that came with the master, cause I did that.

You think the front'* sticking? I greased the slides when I put the ceramic/slots on

Did you actually remove the slide assembly and make sure the rubber gromets in the caliper were well lubed as well as the outside of the slides?

If you say you can smell the brakes and they get very hot, this could be the reason.

Brake odour when you race is to be expected.

If you bench bled the master cylinder, bled the entire system, have the rear pads adjusted properly and there is no signs of leaks...then I would take the time to check the caliper slides...won't take long at all.

Have you checked of the rubber brake lines for cracks?
