Those wheels cost $500 EACH, plus tires, balancing, mounting. That would cost $2600 at least.

This way, $1200, shipping, balancing (maybe), mounting. That would be about $1400 at most. You save $1200.

For 2004 the wheels are a $595.00 option.

For that price you could get some better looking after market chromies, possibly 18"* too!But then you'd have to buy rubber, balance and mount them .

You could get some 18" rims with rubber easy for that price. $400-500 for a set of factory rims is fair IMO.

keep in mind the dealer option is on top of what you are already paying for the base rims (which they will never tell you) same with engine on my sticker it said that the supercharged engine was like a 500 dolla option try getting a brand new 3800 SER 1 supercharged engine for that. But your right you can easily get 18s for that price but IMHO 18s is too much, it doesnt look outta place but they sure can weigh ALOT more than the 16s, my 17s weigh about 5 lbs more than my stockers so i dont have alot more unsprung weight but some 18s esp chrome weigh like 15-30 lbs more WAY TOO MUCH UNSPRUNG WEIGHT.

If weight is the enemy then why do I drive such a bib car?......Because it surpirses the ricers!!!!!

It may be a common price, but I wouldn't venture to say "fair". Dealerships exist to overcharge you.
