Default Mud Flaps

I am curious about a beautiful 1999 Bonneville SE I saw that had both front and rear mud flaps that said 'Pontiac' on them. Is this a stock thing or do you have to get the mud flaps from somewhere?

And why mud flaps on a sedan?

Probably a dealer option. I've seen them before on Bonnies and vomitted in terror at the drivers' faces!

As you can see, I custom made my own. They are low to the ground and 12" wide front and rear. The front ones do rub a little on sharp turns but they do a great job of keeping the stone chips and road dirt off the body sides and bottom. I think they look cool.

Hard plastic with a rubber bottom attached with a stainless steel strip.

You can buy those at GM Dealerships also . I don't particularly care for them on a Bonneville, but they look nice if properly installed.

I personally don't like 'em, but have seen them on Bonnes and they look good. Silverbullets look good on his car!
