E'erbody In Da Club Gettin Sexxy...
Got my Magnaflow on with some chrome tips -not the ones I wanted, but they'll do for now. I know I shouldn't have done this as I am getting a low mileage BORLA XS muffler off a Z28 in a salvage yard and that'll be going on in place of the Magnaflow in the next month.
Got a deal -Tips, HUGE K&N RE-0810, oil (Mobil 1 I provided), oil filter (Phram TG3387 I provided), Magnaflow Wide Open muffler (I provided) all installed for $160.
Wow!! She'* a hell of a different beast now. A little louder than I like (dynamat the trunk floor and under the back seat should cure that 75%), but she really barks.
Also got myself a beautiful K&N cone filter -it'* friggin huge -it'* almost 1 foot long .
Sadly the supercharger whine is now pretty much drowned out by the exhaust, but it can still be heard (at around 3-4k rpm in 2nd & 3rd it sounds like a turbo diesel truck under accelleration -kinda cool).
This is the same muffler I had on my 1994 SLE and now with the stock 2.5" piping on the 1999 she really barks. Not as burbly as it was on the 1994 with 2.25" pipe, but when I get the Borla I will get the SS tips I really want.
Finally here is the eye candy.

For those interested, the tips may be up for sale very soon. I paid $90 for them yesterday (3/11/04) and will take a bit less when I sell them in a week or two (may be as long as a month).

Damn dood, that is a HUGE filter. Send the Borla down to Mankato, i'll use it while you keep the magnaflow 
Those tips are NICE!!! Keep them!

Lookin goooood...but, and I'm just curious (not putting down your mods or anything), why the Magnaflow when you are just putting on the Borla soon? Was it something that fell in your lap?
