Default FWI

I currently have an open 9-inch Cone K&N Cone Filter for my Intake, and I wanted to create a FWI, I wanted to know if anyone else has already done this...and what kind of results that had. I have all the heat from my engine coming into my intake ( not good ) ...I understand I can get a cover and all that...but I thought a FWI would give me a lot better performance anyway. We don't have the same hole that the GTP has for the FWI...any sugg?

I know it'* possible on the 92-99 H bodies, but not so sure on yours. I'm planning a combination of the CAI I made, with FWI feeding the box.

Can you take a pic of your setup? From above? This might be fun to figure out. I have the body shop manual for your car, so with the pics, I might be able to find a safe route to the fender.

Speaking metaphorically anything is possible. The new intake that 2000SilverBullet made shows some pretty new and nice improvised mods. Those pics would be usefull for the entire community to mull over. But I think it can be done.

I think theres more room in the newer gens, There is lots of room in the fender for a custom setup but no one makes a pipe for it, you have to get a custom make or try adapt from some other car.

In the 92-96'* it'd just be a sawzall and a half hour to make it fit....
