Default Paint

I painted my intake with Dupli color. It says it'* good up to 1200 degrees and that it contains ceramic. Is this going to be the equivilant of ceramic coating? Can you buy ceramic coating in a spray can somewhere?

If you spray the headers it needs to cure A LOT. Bonnies94sse did this, and it cooked off.

I think insulation wrap would be better on headers than that paint.

I was thinking about it, the paint is heat resistant, but not heat reflecting like you're thinking. It can be used in 1200 degree environments. But it'* not a heat sheild.
