GTO
I was talking to my dad about getting a GTO, he said that they were nice cars, but he wants to get a vert.....
BTW
I hope they come out with a judge.... car and driver had something about the possibility of a judge... it sounded amasing, but the pic they had of it looked like crap.

Just doesn't do it for me.....If it was called something other then a GTO...I may like it...
Like maybe glorified Grand Prix.....

That.....will never replace this... just my opinion

The new GTO to me is very true to its heritage except it has no hoodscoops but GM said they'd remedy that next year.
The 65 GTO 389 Tri-Power 4-speed car went 0-60 in 7.4 seconds.
Until now the quickest GTO ever was the 1971 455 HO powered with an automatic transmission.
0-60: 6.4 seconds
The new GTO is quicker than any previous stock GTO with 0-60 times ranging from 5.3-5.5 seconds.
Now, there is a slight chance all this isn't enought o get your blood flowing. So let'* look at some more data.
A 1966 2+2 with a 421 4-barrel and automatic had a 0-60 time of 8.5 seconds.
The 1984 Sunbird Turbo FWD with a 110 mpfi and auto transmission went 0-60 in 8.4 seconds.

Well at least the car is ugly and fast rather than ungly and slow like the Monte Super Sport they butchered. I know I might be alone here since right now most of the cars here are FWD and */C, but to put the SUPER SPORT name plate on a front wheel drive Six banger even if its */C, is unforgivable. Super Sport meant better V8 and RWD. Its nice to be hearing rumors that the Bonnie could be RWD next model though...
