Default question about pin stripes

Will be getting my SSEi painted in a few weeks. Wanted to know if the factory paint jobs had pin stripes. The car was painted once already by the original owner and I don't know if there were no pin stripes on the original paint job, or if the first owner did not have them put back on when he had the car painted. If car had no stripes from the factory, then I will not have them put on when I get it painted.

It was an option on some models/years. Nothings ever been put down about it though. Your black SSEi can be sweet with them though, what kind of wheels do you have the silver or gold crosslaces? I think a black SSEI of your vintage, with gold crosslaces and gold strips would KICK! Maybe get some racing stripes instead?

I have the gold rims. If it was an option, then I will have the gold stripes put on. Thanks.

I have the gold rims too. Just waiting until spring to put them on. I think they will go with my gold pin stripping.

My black 1994 SE didn't have any thing...but it'* a lower trim model-so yeah. Actually, come to think of it mine is strange anyways-it has gold rims (except the fact I bought chrome rims, because i'm not such a big fan of the gold ones) but everything else is silver...normally silver and gold don't mix-and-match.

Some have them, some don't. It'* a personal preference.

My car does not have them, it'* just solid green.

neither one of my SSE'* had it, I added chrome to my grey one an made it look that much better; My newer purchase a green one, I added hyper metallic silver and I love tha result! bonnevilles look good either way I just prefer pinstipe.
speaking of, thiers two ways I've seen them, front to tail light and the pinstripe that runs through the dek lid ( I prefer mines to run through the dek lid like Aviator)

Thanks for all the replies. I like the way aviator has the stripes run all the way around the trunk lid. I will tell the paint shop to do mine the same way.
