Default A bittersweet day

I sold my 1978 Olds Cutlass today. Had that thing for almost seven years. :(

The upside: I can start driving my Bonnie fulltime now. I'm going to miss my Cutlass, though. Especially that 5.0 V8!

Now to change the info in my sig...

Sorry to see your Cutlass go..... I know you're hoping you sold it to someone who will take care of it. Either that or hope you never see it again.

At least now you only have 1 car to focus on... the Bonnie

Sold it to someone who saw the ad I posted for it online. He lives on the other side of my state, near New York City, so chances are I won't see it again. Which is a good thing, I think. Damn me for getting so emotionally involved with my cars!

First cars. No matter if the thing was a pile of trash or work of art, you're sad to see it go.
I think schadefreude is a better way to explain it: sad joy. :?

You really don't ever forget your first only i have to see mine every time my sister comes home, and feel bad for her. She always needs an oil change, is never clean, and always needs the fluids topped off.

*sigh*

That was a cool car, Jen, but on the bright side, you've still got the bonnie!

Thank God for the Bonnie. At least now I can focus ALL of my attention (not to mention extra money!) on my Pontiac.
