That'* right, bye bye antique HP 533mhz. Hello new dell. Finally have a comuputer that dosen't crash anymore and is pretty darn fast. This was a little Xmas gift to my self. Now I can surf way faster.
Here'* the specs
Dell Dimension 4600
Pentium 4 2.6 GHz w/ hyper threading
256 MB DDR SDRAM at 400MHz
80 GB 7200 RPM
128MB DDR NVidia GEForce FX (video card)
DVD+R/RW CD-RW combo drive
Using my old monitor
See everyone around, I can be more active now too.
It'* all about multitasking!

I have a Dell, and the FlyBoy has 2 I think. Mine has given me no problems whatsoever. Seem like good machines.
I did run into a situation you may want to be aware of. When trying to go more than 512 MB RAM, it wants Dell branded RAM. Kinda pricey. But so far the 512 has been more than enough.

Sounds like a very nice computer. I'm sure your very glad to get rid of that old HP.
Thats how I am, but I have been looking at the Dells lately, and from what I have seen, you really can't build them as cheap as you can buy them prebuilt from Dell, so I'm not so sure I would build my own next time I need to buy one. Of course I will probably just keep upgrading mine instead of buying a new one. But if I ever do buy a new computer, it will be a Dell.

I never buy pre-made computers, usually if I want a computer I build it.
