Ok guys, I have learned a ton about my car just in the last couple days here. But, as a more comprehensive approach, what all can you tell me:
I've figured out through clever deduction that it is considered and H Body by GM
What generation is mine?
What series engine?
What does the L36 or whatever all that stuff is mean?
What are 0-60, 0-100, and 1/4 mile times? either from the factory, or your specs if you have a non upgraded, non supercharged.
What are some cheap, simple upgrades, or preventive maintenance measures i could partake in?
Any other fun facts?
Thanks guys!
jeff

You have the Series 1 L27. Predecessor to the Series 2 L36. L is just the drivetrain disignation for these motors. Mine is an L67 (supercharged).
Your car stock (SSE is close enough, you might be SLIGHTLY faster):
1992 Ponitac Bonneville SSE 9.5 17.0

The 92 was the first year of that body style. you have the grill with two bars, and the SE was the Base model. 92 was also the first year for the name 3800 on the engine, and it has higher output then earlier models. Your engine does not have an EGR valve most likely, which may cause burned valves. Your exhaust doesn't have a resonator either, so an aftermarket muffler will be louder then a 94+.
Definetly get the car running cooler, that will help your Valves last, Newer honeycomb grills, spoilers are sometimes desired by 92 SE owners if they don't have them. Tail light tint is a very nice thing as you can see below

actually, pontiac made a few in 1954 called the bonneville special. it sorta looked like a 54 vette. check out the new issue of High Performance Pontiac magazine, they have a few pics in there.
i have an issue of Nov 1991 where they review the 92 SSEi, they have all the specs in there, ill dig it out and post tomorrow for you.. may have to scan it and send it also

Before you ask, no you can't get a supercharger off of a SSEi and bolt it up... :(
