Default Best Replacement Headlight Bulbs?

I am looking for headlights that will give me the best visibility for my 95 Bonnie, so I can avoid a Bambi suicide , among other things.

I am not after what looks "cool". I want the best light without blinding oncoming drivers for both my headlights and my driving lights.

Any suggestions?

Bingo. My preference is Silver Star lows, Cool Blue highs (both made by Sylvania and both street legal), and the upgraded fogs (55watt). Deer are a big problem here, too. The Silver Stars are bright enough to pre-cook the meat before you hit it.

OK, I am sold. Can I get these at a local parts store? How about the best place to order online?

Zamboni....you're in f-ing NY. You have everything within an hour!

I wouldn't order these online. Broken bulbs in shipping are a PITA. Buy local. Anyone should have them. NAPA, Pep Boys, etc. whatever you have available. Sylvania'* are everywhere. (even autozone)

Have any of you guys tried the Xenon bulbs, I have them in three of my vehicles, including my Z-71 4wd that sets up a little bit. I do have to aim down the headlights some to keep from blinding, and havent had any problems in two years....except for one. My wife has a 98 Crown Vic and the 80 watt bulbs didnt settle too well with the circuit breakers, seemed to draw more heat than they liked, after about 6 mths, the lights started flashing, and went haywire, pulled them back out and didnt have a problem since. I havent seen any schematics on this Bonneville yet, do they have the breaker type circuit protect, and does anyone know what they are rated at? And gauge of wire?
